Open a MIDI file to see falling bars and hear GM instruments, drums, or one of 10,240 procedural world-instrument presets. SoundFont samples download from the selected library when you are online; all synths and drums work offline. Files stay in your browser.
- Watch — hear the song while the falling bars advance automatically.
- Wait — the song waits until you play the required notes; the selected instrument sounds when you press keys.
- Piano Roll — click the 🎹 button to edit the current MIDI song on a synchronized grid. Draw, select/move/resize, erase, cut, slip, mute and edit velocity. Adjust tracks, instruments, tempo, meter, range, quantization and zoom; then export MIDI or a project. WAV export on the top bar uses your edited arrangement.
- Drum Studio — open 🥁 Drums for a 27-piece step sequencer with 25 kits, 27 styles, performance controls, velocity editing, arrangement map and 22 smart actions. All hits share the live MIDI song, mixer, piano roll and falling bars. Probability is realized once when exporting a standard MIDI file; projects retain the editable probability.
